Since the early 1980s, ADAPT has been a national network of activists with disabilities that employs nonviolent civil disobedience to demand change in policies that exclude people with disabilities from American society. After winning the "right to ride" - a national struggle for accessible public transportation - ADAPT is now fighting policies which lock people with disabilities away in nursing homes and other institutions. ADAPT members have helped thousands of people with disabilities get out of institutions to live autonomously in their own homes and communities. www.adapt.org

Just what the title says; what to do if being interrogated by the police!
This booklet explains the unconstitutional danger that Cointelpro poses on our nation. It is a branch of the FBI whose sole function is to undermine the work of activists seeking social change, or basically anyone fighting for some kind of social change. This booklet contains the history of Cointelpro and how its existence came to light in the public view. Also includes documentation of the fact that it still operates despite Supreme Court orders to destroy it, instructions to dismantle it, how to protect ourselves and our movements from Cointelpro infiltration, and swinging public support to oppose it. Well written and very informative.
This is a collection of documents and information about your rights and leverage when dealing with the police. It also has funny articles like a news clipping from a Miami paper about how a court decided it was okay to curse at cops as long as you weren't threatening them or involved in a crime! It talks about how to behave when being stopped by the police, searched by the police, how to maintain personal privacy and secrecy, how to appear inconspicuous, how to avoid traffic tickets, how to hide items in your home, how to construct more effective protests, how immigrants benefit our economy, how to get free food at McDonalds, how to take advantage of a situation, how to beat a drug test, and a funny story from Malcolm X about getting out of trouble by asking the cops for directions before they had a chance to say anything! This zine is funny, resourceful, and contains quite a bit of practical information as well. Read up.
This booklet is quite frightening and quite interesting, successfully playing off humanity's fascination with war. This contains the history of fascism tracing it from Hitler's third reich and ending in America. As the intro says, fascists believe that a large part of the population is disposable for scientific and social advancement. The parallels from Nazi Germany to current American policies are astounding and upsetting. This is the missing link of information that the corporate media would never tell you.
This crucial guide to women's health gets older but not less useful. It features a well organized resource with a clear index of health problems along with remedies. Also contains a glossary of herbs and their properties. A very handy resource to share with a friend in need.
A double sided 11x17" poster full of the anti-capitalist history of Iraq. Bury all the crap you've been told by our media about their history. This poster is double sided so if you are planning to hang it up, it would make sense to get 2, in order to show both sides.
A short, easy to read booklet drawing on ways in which pirates of old organized to offer suggestions for current folks struggling against oppressive society. A new perspective from the Communist Party or Greenpeace...
A celebration of this contemporary group of Chicana mothers which has successfully fought off the construction of both a prison and toxic waste incinerator in their community.
A brief but militant guide to dealing with government oppression of activists. It deals more in depth with the types of tactics that the FBI uses (versus the police) and how to deal with and counter them.
Radical cheerleading is a tremendous attempt to challenge gender as a social construct while enlivening protests; it's not a spectator activity. Check out this massive booklet so that you can start your own cheering squad.
A bleedin' classic statement to adorn stop signs at your leisure. (Hint: It goes under "STOP"). Now in newer, huger size! 6x18"!!

The mass desertion of thousands of Iraqi troops at the end of the 1991 Gulf War set off an explosive chain of popular revolts in both southern Iraq and in the northern Kurdish territories that threatened both the Iraq and US regimes. This 20 page pamphlet explores an account and perspective all but swept under the rug by media moguls and textbook writers.
A lengthy, first-hand account of an American's journey through Eastern Europe and Turkey, down into Israel and Palestine, and back. From confrontations with fascists to confrontations with parasites , the real significance ultimately lies in the author's internal confrontations with tourism as well as the human rights offenses in the middle east. At times poetic and at times biting and raw, this zine is a page turner that is well worth the enjoyable read.
Every week since 2001, our anonymous friend from Melbourne, Australia, writes a letter or publishes a letter from a friend about something in their life. He photocopies it, puts it in hand-stamped/spray-painted/block-printed envelopes and leaves them about! This book collects the first 5 years of car accidents, deaths, cheating spouses, suggestions on how to spend your day, and much much more. A gorgeous collection of things you would otherwise never see again. Mail art at it's finest.
