Erin Yanke presents us with a document about the Portland Joint Terrorism Task Force's (a combination effort of the FBI and local police) invasion of a house party and the resulting events. Three people were put in prison on felony charges because locking the door when police were in their house was considered "kidnapping". For some reason police responded to a noise complaint with dogs and enough officers to arrest 60 or so people, line them up on the sidewalk, question them about political affiliations, and invade the privacy of those people for months to come.
Erin Yanke and Paul present us with a document of punks opposing war! Contains interviews from the various people shutting down San Francisco at the beginning of the war with Iraq. It talks about a punks against war squat and the motivation of various punks in their activism. Like a book on tape!
A scary and traumatizing collection of tales from cyclists hit by cars while doing the thing they love - riding their bikes! Stories of problems with motorists behavior even after the accidents, problems with recovery, problems with hospitals, and more problems but moreso, theory and perspective about the nature of cars and cycle traffic coexisting on our streets. There's some interesting radio talk shows cut in that discuss the thoughts and reactions of motorists with responses by cyclists. An interesting tale into the psychology and steps towards understanding each other a little better.
