Critical Mass is an event typically held on the last Friday of every month in cities around the world where bicyclists take to the streets en masse. Critical Mass events have no official leader. Participants meet at a set location and time and travel as a group through city streets. Critical Mass rides are self-organized, non-commercial and non-competitive, and they operate with diffused and informal decision-making. Participants have differing purposes for the event, such as demonstrating the advantages of cycling in a city, bringing attention to issues of facilities and safety, enjoying car-free social time on city streets, confronting police, motorists and other symbols of the status quo, and a variety of other purposes, many unstated.
The School of the Americas is a US training facility where militant groups are trained by the US military to do things like topple democratic governments, torture people who resist, indiscriminately kill, and use guerilla fighting tactics. Repeatedly, we've later ended up on unfriendly terms with these new dictatorships and ended up fighting against the same forces that we've trained. The School is now called "The Defense Institute for Hemispheric Security Cooperation"; how obscuring. It is located in Fort Benning, GA and repeated protests there have resulted in people in opposition being killed.
Make up is the notion that we are not beautiful on our own - we need this purchased substance; this product to make us beautiful. Granted, this issue is far more complex and certain radical groups have managed to reclaim the concept of make-up. This is not an attack of them or an ignorant statement ignoring them, it's a statement about mainstream society intending to spread awareness and self assuredness.

Americans are often brought up in the environment of living in excess. We need lots of everything and it better be high quality (and thus expensive). As a result this greed, other people are not able to fulfil their basic needs, let alone a fair piece of the pie. There is plenty of food and wealth to support everyone. If we did not throw away so much food or support exploitive entities then we could support the world's population better as a whole. I believe there is enough to go around. We just need to distribute things properly.

In order to have all people be totally free we must remove ALL elements of restraint. You've all heard rants about the evils of racism, sexism, homophobia, classism, ageism, and the like. But can you recognize them in all of their forms?
