Dr. Marie Equi Poster 11x17", 2 color offset (1 oz) $4.00

Great block-print portrait of Dr. Equi, a lesbian, anarchist, World War I war-resistor! She has been called the Emma Goldman of the Pacific Northwest.

I think this poster's aesthetic reference to Russian Constructivism and liberationist street art of the US 20th century does justice to Marie's ... H. N. Lukes
I reckon this poster is a bit weird and offensive; it lacks sensitivity. Grandnephew of Marie Equi. e.v.wright

SPLIT WITH CRUDE NOISE #3.

This issue of Crude Noise is a collection of Merrydeath's artwork with explanations for each and where they were originally printed. She has a very distinctive style of linocut prints with a lot of texture and detail. Icky (Nosedive) does similar prints in his half of the split. He served as Merrydeath's inspiration in the early days and does a lot of politically motivated art. Both sides are nothing short of breathtaking at moments; let the cover be an indication

Nosedive #13 40 pages, 1/2 legal, copied, linocut covers (3 oz) * OUT OF STOCK *

A compilation issue mostly of Icky's impressive writing and art from other zines. He diagnoses gentrificaiton and the citys' climates in Portland, New Orleans, Detroit, and Pittsburgh as well as personal tidbits and his impressive artwork thrown in for good measure. A bit of focus on the varied urban landscape of the modern US. Comics that are sad, yet true, beautiful block prints, a bit about forgotten painter Maxo Vanka, and plenty more to tickle your fancy.

Nosedive #14 32 pages, 5x5", copied, fancy cover (3 oz) * OUT OF STOCK *

Icky's triumphant return to Portland issue where he dissects his move from city to city, trying to find his place from New Orleans to Pittsburgh to Detroit to Chicago and finally settling again in his hometown of Portland, OR. He conversationally goes over the various thoughts in his head regarding his approach and frustrations with punk, art, activism, being a good friend, watching television, drinking, and his restaurant jobs. It's a strong account of trying to make the world a better place while acknowledging your own shortcomings and problems. A favorite story of mine is about doing interviews for a documentary about the supposed radicalism of dumpster diving with attendees at the A-Zone 10th anniversary party, a very insular infoshop in Chicago. Continually one of our most recommended titles.

I just finished this issue in one sitting. It's awesome. There is also an interview with his father about his experience as a soldier in Vietnam. It ... martha
