Constant Rider #7 32 pages, quarter-letter, b&w interior with ivory color cover (2 oz) * OUT OF STOCK *

Here's the latest from Kate Lopresti's great zine about adventures on public transportation. This issue's theme is "Celebrity Sightings". Kate peeps several "famous" folks while on or around Tri-Met (Portland Oregon's public transit system) and recounts her encounters in several witty vignettes. Some are the more typical type of celebrity (a "mystery" writer that you'll have to figure out, or Hello Kitty (?)) while others are the more modest type (like Tri-Met drivers she encounters at a department store or the Chunkathalon). A longer story about a plane ride to Minneapolis and a book review about a Greyhound trip round up this issue, which is beautifully illustrated by Tim Root of Crappy Comics.

Constant Rider #8 is the first new issue from Kate in 3 years and well worth the wait! It's got the all the usual tales of fellow passengers, including the applicant and the sports fan. There's also Industry Insider, a section where Kate interviews a bus driver, a field engineer, and a traffic engineer. Proving that there are many sides to the same transportational story.
