Diane Arbus is one of my favorite photographers... but this button has little to do with the meaning of the original photo. agrivatedplatypus
This button is still left from when microcosm distributed vinyl, cd's etc. This was one of the bands. The message will always be genuine. alan
Organic farming is more productive than green "revolution" methods. Have a look at this - http://www.monbiot.com/archives/2000/08/24/organic-farming-will-feed-the-world/ James
I don't know how they engrained this idea so deeply to start with... but what about the fact that everyone would have plenty to eat if most people stopped eating the meat (that ate all the grains, etc) and started eating organic grains, fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and beans instead..... and besides, caring about what goes into my body, the bodies of my children, and of everyone else (especially via the earth that is so polluted and destroyed by conventional farming) isn't selfishness, it's intelligence. beth
WELL IF THE WORLD POPULATION CAN ONLY BE SUSTAINED ON GM FOOD AND FOOD WITH PESTICIDES ANYWAY, MAYBE THEY SHOULDN'T BE ALIVE. IT SOUNDS HARSH, BUT JUST BECAUSE HUMANS HAVE TEMPORARILY FOUND THEIR WAY AROUND THE CARRYING CAPACITY, IT DOESN'T MEAN THAT THEY AREN'T SUBJECT TO IT. AMBER
Really only two thirds? Seb
I don't understand this. If only organic foods were planted, only 2/3 of the planet would be able to eat... don't you think it's just a little selfish to want to go all organic knowing that if that's the way the world was, 1/3 of the planet's population wouldn't be fed? Although, don't get me wrong, I do understand the environmental concerns that come with GM foods... but I just think that wanting all organic is sort of selfish. anonymous
