Portland Radical History Bike Tour audio cassette/zine (4 oz) * OUT OF STOCK *

Kim Fern and Erin Yanke created a historical document about Portland's radical past. The original tour was an event during the zine symposium where everyone rode their bikes around town as Kim explained the radical significance of various buildings or parts of town. This tape contains live recordings of those talks and narrations in between. There's also an accompanying zine where you can read along and learn about things not covered on the tape. Stories of IWW scuffles with their employers, underappeciated women in Portland history, Emma Goldman's visits, Black Panthers' activities, and the cities' attempts to stifle anarchist thought. Also includes linocut printed beautiful covers. The best part is that it's a benefit for our local community-based non-profit bike shop.
