This amazing DIY feature film is a cross between Raymond Williams, 50's era Charles Schulz and John Waters. Great production (Looks good! Sounds wonderful!) and even better story. A group of disaffected youth are trying to survive in a small town. Shannon is the last punk, trying desperately to follow her friends out of town. Marsh is dealing with a drunk boyfriend and realizing there's a lot of stuff she's not learning in school. Dolby has retreated into music and drugs and will do anything to get high. When the highschool principal undermines both the kids' new anti-authoritarian Grilled Cheese Sandwich Club and the cafeteria worker's contract, all hell breaks loose and all of Grimsville's loveable characters get involved.
Incredibly smart, incredibly funny. If you've lived in a small town or participated in activist work this film will put a huge smile on your face and get you itchin to make politics fun again. Check out the trailer!
