What could be more radical than boycotting alcohol, drugs and cigarettes? An exciting, in-depth look at sobriety and its role as a radical alternative to the dominant culture, from the perspective of an Anarchist (rather than a dogmatic straight edge person). Instead of expounding on the idea that everyone should have a "clean body and mind", this zine draws links from intoxication straight to the heart of corporate culture take-over, oppression of women and minorities, and accountability in activist communities. There are two interesting personal stories of radical communities addressing or not addressing safe space for sober souls and I was quite enthused to read that the Zapatistas do not allow alcohol into their camps
A zine to act as a companion to "Brew Not Bombs".
