I come from a hunting family as well. I live in South Carolina. A LOT of people here hunt. I don't. I don't believe in it but I generally keep my mouth shut about it. Still "only the poachers are" makes no sense. I doubt poachers drink. They do it for money. They'd want to be aware of what they were doing so that they could make sure not to get caught. However dumb rednecks, as a lot of the hunters I know are, don't give a damn and do drink, A LOT. Not all hunters drink, of course not but seriously, it's meant to be funny. LAUGH. I am a feminist, vegetarian, equality activist, and a mother of a head-strong little girl. My significant other is a hunter who doesn't drink and is one of the best men in the entire world. Not to mention, not all hunters use firearms, some actually use bows, which takes some skill! anonymous
