Erik presents us with beautiful artwork (along with art by Icky and Merrydeath) & idealistic hope for the future of anarchist, punk, & activist movements. This issue tackles maintaining momentum and getting older in a young culture, tolerance, patience, teaching people instead of alienating them, changing tactics, & violence vs. nonviolence. This is a highly personal document though despite these serious topics. There are stories about embracing newcomers to the scene, communicating messages to the general public (by Josh, Just Seeds), strikes (Moe, Xtra Tuf & Colin, Ideas in Pictures), feeding the public, the aesthetic of DIY spaces (Iggy Scam), Utah Phillips, embracing anarchist construction, not just destruction, the Atelier Populaire, a student art activist group from France who challenged their privelege to support a workers' strike and so much more to inspire the way that you think and feel. Erik is doing much to shape the future of our movement i n what I think is a positive direction!
