I find myself constantly puzzling over the actual purpose of so many of these anarchist newspapers. In the case of Slingshot, we have the house paper of the Longhaul Infoshop, a monastery of old-fashioned Berkeley Wingnutism. When viewed in that light, Slingshot makes sense. However, if you actually read Slingshot's content, it is not a newspaper for newspaper's sake. There is a clear political agenda, but unfortunately for Slingshot, it takes after its namesake, it is small, cheap & ineffective in taking out any target that is not already fragile. Norstein Beckler
