Hanging Like a Hex #18 56 pages, 6x9", offset (4 oz) * OUT OF STOCK *

Ryan Canavan is back in print after a multi-year hiatus! Unfortunately, it's only to release his final print issue...which is a bit of a serious departure from previous issues...in a good way; it's more personal, it contains more stories and content aside from obsession with hardcore bands. What we have here is a very detailed account of working for Consolidated Industries, an organization in Syracuse to provide transitional jobs and programs for disabled people, an interview with Paint it Black and Cursed, a comic about staying home and drinking coffee, and the blockbuster majority of this issue - the top 100 records of all time as told through the lens of Ryan's life. Get ready to read every detail of every moment as told through a Quicksand or Black Flag or Bluetip record. This issue is very nicely designed and that helps to make it through such dense pages with so much content!

This zine is awesome! The paint it black interview and the top 100 albums were my favorite parts, but the articles were great and informative reads. The long format is a bit hard to deal with, but overall I can appreciate the thought and how cleanly put together the whole thing is. 2 thumbs up! Mark
