John Gerken is definitely a genius. That much is for sure. I read this on the train between Chicago and Cleveland and it just seemed so appropriate. Contains things to make you laugh, smile, and cry. This zine has included a list of things to do in Ann Arbor, a cute list of things that he hates, evaluating your life by your personal accomplishments and comparing yourself to other's, his newfound faith in DIY and punk culture, constructing a graywater system, New Orleans, and includes issue which discusses gender, compost, riding greyhound, stories of living in Little Rock, a beautiful writing about how his prized possessions have no material worth, being a freelance dishwasher for hire, gentrification, and the general transient life! It's all very exciting and best of all it sparked new life and faith in myself. Hopefully it can do that for you too; especially if you need it.
