Tape Op: The Book About Creative Music Recording

Comments for Tape Op: The Book About Creative Music Recording

I helped edited this compilation, although I didn't get any credit in the actual book, (Larry Crane will confirm this). But besides all that I'm glad that Microcosm is now carrying it. Tape Op is based on the DIY ethic that so enthralls Microcosm, it's a good match and a great compilation. Including many interviews never published in Tape Op the magazine...I could have called it a 'zine, because that's how it started, but it has moved far beyond a 'zine due to Larry's dedication that it has become a magazine and I am happy to have been a part of that. Check out Tape Op if you haven't yet. bryan bingold
